Welcome to Countdown ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Countdown mobile application. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

• event names, dates, times, emoji icons, and colors you create
• countdown history and list order
• your event preferences and app settings

• app settings and preferences (widget settings, sort order, notifications)
• in-app activity (screens visited, features used)
• subscription status and purchase history

• device type and operating system version
• app version
• crash reports and error logs (to improve stability)
• we do NOT collect your name, email, or personal identifiers unless you contact us for support

• local countdown data is stored on your device and retained until you delete the app or individual events
• crash logs and analytics data are retained for up to 12 months
• support communications are retained for up to 2 years

no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. while we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

you can enable or disable event reminder notifications in the app settings or your device notification settings.

8.2 data deletion

to delete your app data, uninstall the app from your device. for any cloud-related data deletion requests, contact us at mallik.puranjan@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

8.3 access and portability

you may request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting our support team.

9. children's privacy

Countdown is suitable for all ages. we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. if you believe your child has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us and we will take prompt action to delete it.

Countdown may use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: for subscription billing and app distribution
• crash analytics provider: for app stability monitoring (anonymized data only)

11. international data transfers

Countdown is operated from the United States. if you use the app from outside the US, any data we process may be transferred to and processed in the US. by using the app, you consent to this transfer.

12. changes to this privacy policy

we may update this privacy policy from time to time. when we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. for material changes, we may notify you through the app. continued use of Countdown after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
